Accommodation
The NZEDS is based in the Franklin District, 50kms south of Auckland City Centre, NZ.
Student accomodation is provided while attending the course in a modern house with all amenities. However students are required to pay for their own expenses such as food, personals and telephone charges. Power and water costs are covered by NZEDS.
The student accommodation is within walking distance to Tuakau, where there are local shops, cafes and a small supermarket. A car for use between students is provided, and there is a 10 minute drive from the accommodation to Pukekohe and a 2 minute drive to the NZEDS base in Tuakau.

Costs
The total cost for the 3 month course is NZ$25,000.
A non refundable deposit of NZ$1000 is due on acceptance of your application. When the next payment of NZ$4000 is made (due 6-8 weeks before the course start date) you will be sent out the reading material that you are required to familiarise yourself with before the class starts. The balance of NZ$20,000 is due one month prior to the start of your class.
If a student cancels their attendance of the class they have been accepted on within 3 weeks of the course start date this payment is only transferrable to another class date.
When transferring applications to another class date, transfers are only applicable to the following 3 class dates. For medical grounds doctors certificates are required.
Payment Options and Terms
Acceptable forms of payment are ITT (international Telegraphic Transfer) or Credit Card.
- ITT - This form of payment can be arranged through your local bank. It is important to ensure you reference your payment by using your name and class date (ie August 2010).
- Credit Card - all credit card payments will incur a 2.5% administration fee.
