The New Zealand Equine Dentistry School Ltd (NZEDS) promotes a healthy attitude towards learning about the intriguing world of Equine Dentistry. It is our aim at the end of each course to have students practicing equine dentistry at a high level of competency and professionalism.

We strive to only put qualified students back into the market place that can effectively run a broad based equine dentistry business that caters to all the facets of the modern market

We encourage all our students to become members of the International Association of Equine Dentistry, attend conferences and work towards gaining the IAED certificates.

NZEDS Instructors maintain a high standard of equine dentistry at all times, ensuring every client, both horse and owner receives top quality service. The equine dentistry market has changed dramatically worldwide over the last few years and at NZEDS we are aware of this and as a reflection of our updated techniques we are equipped to prepare students for constant changes. Students will be exposed to over 700 horses mouths to see varying degrees of problems and they will learn how to correctly diagnose and treat these.  Training is provided in the use of both hand floats and power tools along with more advanced cases such as RCT (root canals).  Students will be learning about simple procedures through to advanced cases while studying with NZEDS.
